Tribute to a Wonderful Friend
Brad Barrs
Brad Barrs was born on May 24, 1985 and tragically passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2025. He was the beloved son of Mike and Suzanna. Although his mother, Suzanna, passed away when he was young, her memory remained deeply ingrained in his heart, and Brad cherished her presence throughout his life.
Mike, his father, raised Brad along with his older brother. The family dynamic grew even stronger when Mike married Darlene, giving Brad the opportunity to gain a second mother and two additional brothers. Brad was raised in a loving family that emphasized respect, kindness, generosity, and hard work. These values stayed with him throughout his life, shaping his interactions and the way he cared for others.
In his younger years, Brad was active in sports, enjoyed family trips to the beach, and hanging out with his friends. As an adult, he dedicated his career to the construction industry and eventually ventured into owning his own saw mill. His talent for woodworking truly shone in this role. Brad was the creative force behind Custom Live Edge Wood Creations, where he meticulously crafted beautiful furniture from cedar and various other materials. His skill in shaping wood with precision and artistry gave every piece a unique, one-of-a-kind character. Whether he was working on custom flooring, accent walls, or specialty furniture, Brad poured countless hours into his craft, taking immense pride in his work.
Outside of his professional life, Brad was an avid lover of the outdoors. He found solace by the river and spent many hours hunting for arrowheads. His connection to nature was a true reflection of his character—grounded, patient, and deeply appreciative of the simple joys of life.
Brad’s impact on the world and those around him was immeasurable. He was kind, courageous, and always ready to offer a listening ear or a helping hand to anyone in need. His infectious spirit brought light to the lives of so many, and his legacy of compassion, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Brad’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of those who love him.
Though he is no longer with us, his love and kindness live on in every conversation, every act of support, and every life that Breaking Barrs touches.
